Wing It 101: Getting Warmer, Warmer….

In this video Eric talks about how much temperature matters when creating a disc.  Our different plastics melt at different temperatures.  This is challenging because if you don’t heat up the plastics enough only one will melt, but if you heat up the plastics too much then you get scolding on the plastic that melts first.  So you’ve got to heat up the plastic enough to melt both plastics but not so much that it scolds.  Watch the video and Eric shows you a couple of our trial run discs as we try and figure out the right temperature.

Temperature is one of the the big things to consider but it’s not the only thing.  Coming up we will be talking about how the speed that you inject the plastic into the mold effects the discs, but until then, this is Jamin, keep winging it.
